As President of the New Mexico Association of Classroom Teachers I would like to encourage all of you to consider our organization. While NMACT may not be as well known as other teacher groups we are still very effective and provide you with liability coverage at a much lower rate.

 

As a Field Member there are no meetings to attend or local dues to pay. You receive our legal expense benefit as well as liability coverage. As we are a growing organization if we have twenty or more Field Members in a district we would encourage and help you form a local.

 

The Board of Directors of NMACT are quite active in lobbying our Legislature on educational issues. Any personal concerns you have should be addressed to our web site where we will make the Legislature aware. We will also be happy to discuss/represent you in any circumstance where you believe your due process rights are being violated.

 

 

Please consider NMACT when making your decision about your liability insurance. In this litigious world it is a necessity. You just shouldn't have to pay an "arm and a leg" for it.
